CUET (UG) track CUET

Practice for the Common University Entrance Test (UG), run by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to central and other participating universities. We cover three of its papers: the General Aptitude Test, English and Mathematics. All questions were written by us for practice; none are taken from NTA papers. 93 General Aptitude questions are shared with our Bank / SSC track and are marked as such.

What each paper covers (official syllabus)

  • General Aptitude Test (501): general knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning (simple arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics), logical and analytical reasoning, and general science and environment literacy.
  • English (101): reading comprehension with factual, narrative and literary passages of up to 300 words, plus verbal ability: rearranging parts, matching, choosing the correct word, synonyms and antonyms.
  • Mathematics / Applied Mathematics (319): Section A (common to both), then Section B1 (Mathematics) or B2 (Applied Mathematics). Coaching sites commonly describe this as 15 questions from A plus 35 from B1 or B2. NTA's bulletin itself says only that each paper has 50 compulsory questions.
We do not include current affairs, because such questions go out of date quickly. Our GK questions are static facts that we checked against official or standard references. For current affairs, follow a reliable news source.
